Edge hill project management student placements with p34b
Three students joined P34B for a University Placement Project from January to April 2023 whilst studying for their full time degree in Business Management. Each of them brought unique skills to the business, demonstrating their potential for the future workforce and engaging in their own projects.
They all worked on different projects, framing them, designing a project plan, baselining the plan and then delivering the plan against their objectives. Jack’s project was to develop P34B’s social media usage, recognising the business is not an active social media user. Maisy’s project was to support the businesses recent accreditation of CSR, helping the business host an event to support a local community project and finally Chris’s project was to research the T-Levels government initiative to help employer understand how they can support young people looking for their first opportunity.
Steve, Projects and Networks coordinator, commented “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all three students, not only supporting their development but also my own, to create an environment they could excel in. All their projects have benefitted the business and have all informed our strategy and future thinking. We will continue their great work to support more in the community, identify how we can help colleges and young people, all whilst sharing what we are doing via our social media strategy.”
