Neil sponsors emerging project leaders and assists established projects in configuring operating and delivery models to improve outcomes. As a chartered professional, and project lead for healthcare, manufacturing, engineering projects, Neil delivers on his professional Fellow status investing in project mindsets for all age groups and sharing industry connections, leading the APM Northwest Project Management Network for 4 years from 2022-2026. 

Since establishing the network, Neil has progressed into enabling cross profession collaborations, with other professional bodies, to create new integrated value within industry and for the next generation of project and industry professionals.

Neil ensures people and business appreciate their current skills, target their own development needs, and address them, to accelerate. Neil’s balanced skill set has continually evolved by working on projects, earning trust, and developing technical and tactical skills through leading teams. Neil places huge emphasis on balanced skill sets and the ability to use rounded skills to achieve outcomes. Neil has designed the P34B skills assessments to bring these characteristics out in others. 

Neil enables people and business to benefit from professional mentoring, sharing learning and experience to inform professional practice. As the product of an apprenticeship himself and now a Fellow of the APM and CMI mentor Neil brings deep industry experience. Neil has developed the P34B professional assessment methods to make professional assessments accessible for people at all stages of their career to inform and enable professional development planning.

His experience as a client, and as an Expert Client lead in manufacturing and PMO services integrating project actions with business priorities across UK and international portfolios gives him the ability to see possibilities that others may overlook. Drawing on learnings from nine sectors, Neil brings a balanced and respectful approach that has enabled him to lead complex change transformations in nuclear, manufacturing and SME environments. Through this, he helps organisations gain clarity, strengthen capability and move forward with confidence.

UK Aviation Design Lead

As part of the Airport Transformation I worked with Neil who led the governance for the project. Neil reviewed the client requirements and processes and by working with the team he created bespoke project processes which enabled the team to be successful and made our jobs easier in the fast paced environment. Work Experience
