From Job title to portfolio of capability . . .


How many people ask you – what job role do you want.  How many describe themselves by job title in the first instance… ‘I am the director of… or ‘head of . . .’.  These binary descriptions are not good for us or the people we engage with.  It’s about you, who you are, what you careabout, what you’ve achieved, your aims and ambitions that matter more – why hide all of this behind a job title.

Next time someone asks you about who you are or who you want to be, don’t answer with a job title!
