P34B are engaging with People through Job Centres with DWP

On Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th October Sarah and Neil Horner, our P34B Ltd Directors, visited the Leyland and Chorley Job Centres to support job seekers.  In just 2 days 25 discussions were held with a variety of people with appetite to progress their options, explore new opportunities to make the most of their futures.  Sarah and Neil offered industry perspective, ideas, and referred to existing and emerging provisions from Bootcamps to Funded Programmes and Support Networks.  In all cases the individuals were encouraged to be themselves, be creative, allow themselves to be seen by the employer, and consider their next project as a way of building professional confidence and evidence.

For each and all the offer of ongoing support was made, with each and all invited to reach out to P34B as they may require to progress their next stage / future projects.  P34B have since supported several individuals with next steps.

For all SME partners who are reviewing this, please recognise that there are some incredible people seeking opportunities through job centres who deserve to be found and must be engaged with.
